Fiduciary Essentials® for Advisors (FEA) is an online, customizable training program that equips advisors with the basics of a fiduciary education. The program focuses on the fiduciary roles and responsibilities of advisors managing qualified retirement plan programs and individual retirement accounts.

The FEA program was designed, developed and delivered by the fiduciary and practice management experts at Fi360, attorney Fred Reish, Drinker Biddle, and David Levine, Groom Law Group.

Training Options

Firms can offer the FEA certificate program to their advisors in a customizable online training format that incorporates unique firm-level retirement program policies and procedures. There are several modules that can be mixed and matched depending on your firm’s needs.

Program Overview

Module 1:
An introduction to the Fiduciary Standard

Module 2:
Implementing a Fiduciary Process - Part 1 (Organize and Formalize)

Module 3:
Implementing a Fiduciary Process - Part 2 (Implement and Monitor)

Module 4:
New World of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

Module 5:
Overview of 401(k) Plans

Module 6:
Essentials of Public Education, Non-Profit and Government Retirement Plans (403(b) | 457(b))

Participants will be offered a Certificate of Completion by passing quizzes with a score of 70% or higher at the end of each module.
