HOME > TRAINING OVERVIEW

Fi360 Training is the best way to learn the prudent investment process and apply it in your fiduciary responsibilities. Our training developed because the vast majority of fiduciaries receive little or no formal training and what little is provided is rarely comprehensive. Yet still, fiduciaries are required to demonstrate that portfolio assets are being prudently managed and sound investment practices are being followed.

Our designation training provides instruction towards earning the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ (AIFA®) professional designations. The AIF Training provides a unique comprehensive overview of fiduciary standards of excellence, asset allocation, preparation of investment policy statements, manager search and due diligence, performance measurement, and other related subjects. The AIFA Training builds on that foundation and prepares students to provide Fiduciary Assessments to institutions.

Formats

The AIF Training is available in three different program formats, combining online learning and face-to-face instruction. Each format concludes with an examination in order to apply for and earn the AIF designation. AIFA Training is only available in the Classroom format.

Custom Programs

Your organization can provide AIF and AIFA Training economically and efficiently by choosing custom delivery for large groups. We will work with you to find the right format for your organization to hold the AIF or AIFA at the location of your choice. Having fi360 instructors and materials come to you is a great way to send your employees or clients to a program without the added expense of travel and increased out-of-office time!

Fi360 Training programs are offered at multiple universities and training facilities around the world. History

Additional Notes:

There are no prerequisites for the AIF Training.

AIFA Training’s prerequisite is the AIF Training. A student may register for the AIFA Training before becoming an AIF designee as long as he or she has also registered for the AIF Training.
