The Prudent Practices for Investment Stewards and Investment Advisors ( New Zealand Edition) handbook features the same Practices and Criteria as the U.S. editions of the handbooks for Investment Stewards and Investment Advisors, but with New Zealand-specific legal substantiations and text.
|
 |
There also is a corresponding Self-assessment of Fiduciary Excellence for Investment Stewards and Investment Advisors (New Zealand Edition). This is a short questionnaire based on the Practices that tests how well an Investment Steward or Advisor conforms to the Practices defined by the Foundation. |
All twenty-one Practices are substantiated by legislation and case law from:
- Trustee Act of 1956
- Superannuation Schemes Act of 1989
- Investment Advisers (Disclosure) Act of 1996
