Any person who attends an AIFA program must be a graduate from an AIFA (prior to May of 2006), AIF, or AFIM program. In addition, in order to obtain the AIFA designation, they must meet certain other educational and/or work experience requirements.

The following table assesses whether potential AIFA ® candidates meet those requirements. Please use the following table solely as a guide, all individuals will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you have any concerns about meeting the requirements, please send an email to training@fi360.com explaining your situation and a staff member will follow up with you shortly thereafter.

AIFA candidates must score 4 or more points on the following table in order to meet the prerequisite requirements of the designation:

Obtaining the designation:

For a candidate to be awarded the AIFA Designation, they must meet the prerequisites and agree to the requirements specified below.

Requirements:

  1. The candidate must submit the annual accreditation dues of $325.
  2. The candidate must agree to abide by the Center for Fiduciary Studies (CFS) Code of Ethics.
