It isn't always enough to know what your requirements are, sometimes you have to prove that you are following them. This is why fi360 has a number of assessment options for investment fiduciaries. The Practices found in our handbooks define the Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence for investment fiduciaries. There are three levels of assessment for investment fiduciaries to test their conformance to the Standard.

• Level I--Self-Assessment of Fiduciary Excellence (SAFE)
  The SAFEs are questionnaires of affirmative questions for fiduciaries to answer about themselves. Each applicable questions must be answered definitively "yes" for a fiduciary to be confident that they are fulfilling all of their obligations. Any question answered "no" or "I don't know" indicate that there may be a fiduciary shortfall.

  An online SAFE is also available. This tool allows you to generate a report based on your answers to the SAFE questions.



• Level II--Consultant's-Assessment of Fiduciary Excellence (CAFE)
  The CAFEs are working documents for AIF and AIFA designees to gather the information necessary to confirm the same questions that appear in a SAFE. The consultant can then make recommendations or assist the assessed entity in fulfilling their fiduciary policies and procedures to ensure conformity
  
  CAFEs and other consulting support documents are only available in the Designee Portal



• Level III--CEFEX Certification
  CEFEX Certification is an independent recognition of a fiduciary's conformity to the Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence. The CAFE document is also used for this type of assessment, but must be performed by an AIFA designee who has not previously worked with the assessed entity in order to be eligible for Certification.
